De 12 verhalen uit een leven met een ongenode gast beschrijven allerlei dagelijkse situaties, zoals die de schrijver overkomen zijn. Tien jaar geleden werd bij hem de ziekte van Parkinson gediagnosticeerd; in het echtpaar Juust en To Verwoord heeft hij in feite zijn alter ego gevonden, waarbij Juust het deel van het leven vertegenwoordigt waar de ziekte een rol speelt en To voor alles staat, wat de aansluiting met het normale leven aangaat. De ongenode gast, de ziekte van P, is altijd aanwezig en vormt de rode draad in de verhalen.

It is a report in photo’s of a trip to Italy from The Netherlands to pick up a hand painted ‘servizio italiano’. On our way to Radda in Chianti our destination in Tuscany we’ve visited a castle in Belgium, the Schlumpf collection in Mulhouse, Luzern at night, the ligurian coast in Italy, the Galleria Ferrari and Pininfarina’s designstudio. The second part of this book is dedicated to the Radianza studio in Radda.
